Islamic Feminist Critical Hermeneutics of the Qur’an
studied English Literature and Cultural Studies, receiving her PhD from the Cultural and Development Studies program at Mohammad V, University of Rabat. She wrote her dissertation on Secular and Islamic Critiques of Fatima Mernissi: Thinking a Post-Foundationalist Islamic Feminism.
