In the academic year 2021/22, the Forum Transregionale Studien welcomes 61 postdoctoral scholars from more than 25 countries to conduct research in Berlin and at various locations in Europe. As fellows, they will have the opportunity to work on their own projects and to exchange ideas and network within the framework of the Forum’s research programs and with colleagues in Germany and elsewhere. They deal with questions of the rule of law and democracy, authoritarian regimes and movements, the social and cultural consequences of structural and technological change, and narratives and strategies of political emancipation in times of upheaval.
