The fourth WeberWorldCafé on “Globalisation during the Cold War: Culture, New Geopolitics and Che Guevara” was held at the Literaturcafé in Leipzig on November 16, 2015 in cooperation with the Centre for Area Studies Leipzig and the GIGA German Institute for Global and Area Studies. Experts and young scholars from various fields and the interested public analysed how much today’s world order was shaped by the Cold War era and its end, what role new social, political, and ecological movements, as well as regional and international organisations did play in this era and which changes took place beyond a eurocentric point of view.
