[Messages of the Prophets: One Religion and Different Paths]
This monograph is a new addition in the vigorous area of Quranic studies. Through ruthless analysis of the wide range of Quranic prophetical narrations, the author aims to reveal the distinctiveness of each prophetical mission in its very message, approach, commonalty and relation to and in the prophetical history.
Of the main questions this study addresses are:
What are the divine ultimate purposes behind all these prophesies, and how to be fulfilled in the course of a history where there is no more prophets? What are the implications of the Islamic concept of the seal of prophecy? Is there any perennial and global gist left by all those prophets and how do we need them in our contemporary world?
