SUMMARY:KuK-Tuesdays: Dislocation and Temporalities
DESCRIPTION:The inaugural session of the new edition of the KuK-Tuesdays: Dislocation series aims to engage with the concept of temporalities, in relation to dislocation. The term dislocation starts with the prefix “dis”. This affix indicates that the term refers to the absence of location, the opposite of location, or being deprived of being located, and the “not” located. The act of being pushed out of place manifests as a moment of anomaly, rupture, irritation, interruption, and violence.
