Fatemeh Shams (University of Pennsylvania / EUME Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation 2021-22) is author of the groundbreaking monograph A Revolution in Rhyme: Poetic Co-Option Under the Islamic Republic, published by Oxford University Press in 2021.
The lecture is organized by the Arabic and Iranian Studies Departments of the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS) at Philipps-Universität Marburg. It will take place on-site at CNMS Auditorium, Room 00A26 (lobby hall), Deutschhausstraße 12, 35032 Marburg.
