With special funding of up to 2.9 million euros, the Volkswagen Foundation is offering refugee researchers from Afghanistan the chance to continue their work in Germany. On the one hand, projects that have already received funding will receive additional funds to integrate researchers who have fled into their project work. On the other hand, the renowned “Academy in Exile” can use funds from the Volkswagen Foundation to offer ten fellowships with a term of two years.
