- Revisiting the Canons of Textual Scholarship
To the Zukunftsphilologie website
Zukunftsphilologie is associated with the Friedrich Schlegel Graduate School of Literary Studies at Freie Universität Berlin and is since 2010 a project at the Forum Transregionale Studien. It is supported by funds from the Land Berlin.
The project is initiated through a postdoc program, the organisation of workshops, a lecture-cum-seminar series and international summer/winter schools. Postdoc-fellows, trained in a branch of the historical or philological disciplines, will be invited annually to work on their own research projects within the research group. Emphasis will be put on invitations of scholars from outside of Berlin, especially from those regions whose philological traditions are being studied in the context of the project.
Currently Zukunftsphilologie is steered by a group of scholars that include: Manan Ahmed (FU Berlin), Islam Dayeh (FU Berlin / coordinator of the project), and Angelika Neuwirth (FU Berlin).
